I remember first coming to Central Oregon with my husband in 1982. We were so amazed by the area’s beautiful landscapes and active lifestyle. It was clear that this was our ideal place to call home, so we moved!

Prior to becoming a full-time in 2003, I worked in the construction industry. I genuinely enjoyed being part of a project and watching it develop from the ground up. Being a city girl, the idea of a private septic system and a well on your own property was foreign to me. So, I can truly relate to the home buyers coming to rural Central Oregon! I believe my experiences have made me a better REALTOR®, and I love this wonderful career.

My husband and I met JoAnn on our first visit to La Pine. We stopped in her office to see if they had any maps we could use to figure out how the city was laid out and where we could begin looking for property. She not only gave us maps, but helped us figure out where to begin looking, let us know what areas (with very little information about what we were looking for)we might be interested in, and some background information about the area. There was no pressure one way or another, just a friendly welcome. Needless to say, we came back and asked if she could show us some property. We ran the gamut, not really knowing exactly what we were looking for. Again, no pressure, just a warm, easy-going feel to the time. Through our process of actually purchasing an acre of land outside the city, JoAnn never pushed us in one direction or another,she learned what we wanted, and always seemed genuinely interested in our future plans in relocating to the area in the not-so distant future. Now, even though the sale is done, she still keeps in touch with us.
